*NEW* Award Submission Process

VIBE has adopted a 2-step program for submission to make it faster and more convenient for the broadest group of operator companies to easily enter.  Only the three finalists in each category will have to submit examples of full physical materials, all of which can be done electronically.

VIBE Vista Awards Submissions Criteria

  • Award entries may be submitted by any beverage industry professional, as long as they have the needed knowledge of the promotion to fill out the entry materials completely.
  • Entries must include complete contact information from the person submitting the entry as well as information on the key beverage decision-maker at the nominated company (name, address, phone, cell, e-mail, fax, etc.).
  • A company may be entered in any category but can only win in one category per year.
  • Complete materials must be submitted for each category entered or the entry will be disqualified.
  • Previous award winners may not enter in the same category in which they won for a period of three years, but are eligible for entry in any of the other categories.
  • A supplier company who sponsors an award category is restricted from submitting a nomination in their sponsored category.
  • Entry forms are available electronically at www.vibeconference.com until October 17, 2011 and must be received by the end of that day for Award consideration.

Submissions by Agencies

  • A limit of 15 separate entries will be accepted from an individual agency, with a maximum of 5 admissions from any one client company. Each operator company may be nominated in a maximum of three categories, and each category counts as a separate nomination for the agency.
  • Each entry must come in with an individual entry form and supporting materials, including specification of the category being entered and the company being nominated.

Required Materials for Award Consideration

  • Fully Completed Entry Form — including all requested contact information for the key beverage decision maker and individual submitting the entry.
  • Brief Program Overview/Narrative — outlining the objectives, strategy to achieve the objective, indication of results (focusing on customer counts, sales, profitability, server support)- more details on actual submission form.

Entries Must be Submitted Electronically in PDF, Word, or PowerPoint as ONE document, and MUST include:

  • Fully completed entry form.
  • Brief synopsis of objective(s) and strategies.
  • Length of promotion or program
  • Training Activities for servers and/or bartenders
  • Actual measures of results; increased sales, profitability, increased traffic or ordering.
  • List of all support and training materials that are part of the program must be identified individually in the document explanation of how specific materials support the promotion.
  • DO NOT MAIL OR SEND ANY OF THE SUPPORT MATERIALS ON-LINE AT THIS TIME.

Instructions for Finalists

On of before November 16, the individualswho submitted the materials will be notified as to whether the program will or will not go on to the finalist category for judging.

Finalists in each category must then immediately provide the following materials:

  • Examples of Program Sales & Marketing Materials:
    • Menus
    • POS materials
    • Training Materials
    • Drink photography
Materials images must be combined into a single PDF, Powerpoint, or Word file.  DO NOT submit multiple digital files or actual materials (menus, table tents, etc. ). Only entries composed of a single file will be considered.
Final materials must be received by November 23, 2011
